We have contacted the seller of these sets direct to ask that they cease creating and distributing this work in any format with immediate effect and that they refund any payments received to date regardless of whether orders have been fulfilled.

We have the complete emailed details of what was offered, together with the seller's postal address and bank details, and will take further action if necessary, as potentially large sums of money are being exchanged for illegal versions of valuable copyrighted work. We ask that those of you that have sent monies for this bootleg set seek a full refund directly from the seller or through PayPal, or by any other means payment was made. We would like you all to hear and hopefully own this work, but as it was intended to be heard, rather than from someone else benefiting massively potentially many hundreds if not thousands of pounds are known to be changing hands here from selling a cheap poor quality bootlegged version - and we will be making this possible for you very soon.

The set will include numerous extras and will be nicely packaged. If you would like any further details about the official reissue set or further details of the seller of these bootlegged tapes, please contact us by email at: unmail at unlabel dot net Thank you. Another official CDr garbage release from Between Silences? On their page they market their releases as CDs but in reality they are CDr's. I'd much rather put my money on bootleg tapes.

Thanks for that positive response to what we do as a hobby, having worked with, helped and released music for in excess of artists. Our website clearly states exactly what format everything is pressed on and we would not be able to release anything close to the amount of work that we have otherwise, All of our CDr releases are professionally copied and printed, and we never receive complaints about the quality of what we do.

Actually you are right, the format is clearly mentioned in the mail order page. I was just comparing what I saw on the front page with the info that can be found on Discogs.

Judging by Discogs, so far all your releases have been in CDr format so I'm glad to hear this upcoming box will be an exception. Looking forward for both the official release of Campaign and Slaves! SJ is where everything is on our terms, where we express ourselves most clearly and purely.

Hopefully on rare occasions, it also becomes greater than the sum of its parts. Everything else we have done, was always secondary. Sutcliffe Jugend is what defines us as artists. Your work has been referred to as disturbing, unsettling and abrasive. Is it more of a goal for you to leave the listener with a feeling of getting a sonic punch to the gut, a warped mind or attack on any other senses?

Perhaps a synesthetic effect? It needs to excite the senses and the mind. I fucking love the sound of this band, I love what we represent and I get a tremendous thrill from performing and creating new music and albums. Even if it can be difficult and hard work at times. The lyrics have changed dramatically.

Once they were pure violent expressionism, I never wrote anything down, just lost myself in the music and let it all out. With us now, things are more considered, lyrics can take a long period to complete.

The same with the music. The sonic punch is to my own gut and consciousness. That complexity, layered meaning and musical variation is what I need now. Who knows where it will lead next. Between and there was a 12 year hiatus. Why was this the case? First I stopped to join a touring version of the other PE band at the time Whitehouse, which lasted about two years, then I moved out of London and left once commitments had run out.

They became a great band for me during the Peter Sotos lyric writing era. I then started loop work on my own around this time, using a primitive sample keyboard. We formed the early version of Bodychoke around , although it was a couple of years before we started to play live. That was okay, but it was too frustrating or limiting in the end. We sold fuck all and virtually nobody showed for the gigs. In recent years especially with the last album, Shame we see an incredible emphasis on vocals and lyrics.

Why the decision and was this a conscious attempt to illustrate an intense picture not just through sound? In other words, are the lyrics more important to you or are they more of a tool to add to the over-all effect of the sound? Kevin: The lyrics are definitely more important now. They are no longer the easy tool they once were. 1. Nov 13,  · This is the original Sutcliffe Jugend tape set, released as WDC and later bootleged as a 10LP-set. Each tape is released in a standard snap-case with identical front-cover. Each tape-side is dedicated to a different victim of Peter Sutcliffe/5(14).
  2. Jul 12,  · Bootleg vinyl reissue of the 10 cassette set, limited to copies. The audio of each LP is a direct transfer from each cassette without any remastering or sound improvement. Due to that, and because all of the sides are lengthy (some around 30mins long), the sound suffers greatly rendering the overall pressing quality lacking in power and /5(19).

  7. Calling Sutcliffe Jugend a Power Electronics band would be a gross oversimplification of them. “We Spit On Their Graves” was fairly basic: screaming over industrial noise. Since then, however, their sound has gotten much more complex. Their Death Factory material had the duo getting into ambient territory at times.
  8. Jul 23,  · The band released a set of 10 cassettes titled “We Spit On Their Graves”, which was then bootlegged into a 10 vinyl boxed set, now changing hands for 3 figure sums. For the first time, the original tapes were digitally remastered for .
