After exchanging insurance details and a few cross words they think they never have to see each other again. Unfortunately a twist in fate means they will be spending much more time together than they expected.
I loved this book! I find it unique in a way. Its main quality I think is that it is so much fun. I found myself giggling at the interaction between the two main characters. It was easy to picture facial expression in the scenes which I found brilliant.
The story is so easy to get lost in, it feels so real. Unlike a few romances you read that almost seem too good to be true you can really feel that this could actually happen. The surrounding characters included in the story are all necessary in bringing this story to life. Each one has specific purpose and detailed well. This book is an absolute delight to read, every element in this book will keep you smiling. Apr 15, Tee loves Kyle Jacobson rated it it was amazing Shelves: must-read , new-book-release , april Fender Bender Blues is such a cute and hilarious story that grabs you right from the first page and keeps you on your toes the entire time.
While you reading this you are laughing at some of the antics Rachel does and how she changes things for Craig in a good way. Like most women do we multi task while we drive which a crazy thing to do and this is how the story starts out. Rachel is applying lip gloss to her lips while backing out of her driveway when she crashes into Craig Larsen. Lord have m Fender Bender Blues is such a cute and hilarious story that grabs you right from the first page and keeps you on your toes the entire time.
Lord have mercy when Rachel gets out of her car she and Craig exchange some words and information and this is where the story really starts to pick up. Rachel thought she was in her dream job but a family crisis changed all that and now Rachel is job surfing for the right dream job. She is doing a pretty bang up job but she is in search for the right job.
Craig is a strong business man that owns his own company and is pretty financially sound but a PR mess over his ex-girlfriend has him in the lime light and he is no fan of that. So when he and Rachel have that accident he is none to pleased but what he gets from Rachel is so much more than he bargained or ever dream off. These two have some comical situations between them but the light theme of the story and the romance is just enough to grab you in and hold you there until you finish reading it.
What happens when you have a social worker and a workaholic? Want to find out read this book! Jun 06, Kara rated it really liked it. I opened this book in support of an indie author I haven't read before--so I started with a clean slate. I was in for a wonderful surprise. Not long into the book I was laughing my ass off. The banter continued throughout the rest of the novel and had me laughing out loud several times.
Rach, the main character is a force to reckon with. She's forward, determined, yet cautious, stubborn, and hilarious. She was very easy to connect with and the passion for her career shines brightly. Craig is the power-driven, balanced ego, and handsome book boyfriend in this novel. Niecey provides us with a wonderful mixture of angst, mystery, and love that kept me turning the page.
I'd love to see more of what Rach and Craig's future brings but the novel ended seamlessly, with no cliff hangers and questions unanswered. The detail Niecey provides in the scenes makes you feel like you're there experiencing it with the characters. The support between the characters and their relationships with their friends and family flew together perfectly.
I also would love to read more on Leah Rach's best friend and Rick Craig's brother. Hint, hint Niecey!
This book was a great read and it's a great turn to if you're in a book funk after reading something dark and need a nice, easy-flowing read. Give it a try! Feb 25, Charlotte Lynn rated it really liked it. A fiery red hear, Rachel, plows into his mint condition Camaro.
Little did he know how much Rach would change his life. Rachel Bennett is on a break from her job as a social worker after doubting if that is the job she wants. She declares no distractions until she figures out where her life is headed. The fender bender ends up throwing a wrench into her well laid plans. Craig Larsen feels the constant need for control and success.
He is a wealthy and successful business man. The fender bender turns his controlled world upside down. He has to figure out what he wants for his future. Every day for Rachel is an adventure.
Anyone who gets in her path gets to experience that adventure. I laughed so many times at her. Never had I met anyone who had such horrible luck and even when something was going her way she manages to do something to mess it up. Many times I just wanted to yell at her to get her life together and realize how good she has it. All that being said Rach was a character that I could easily relate to and enjoy getting to know.
This story was perfect. It had humor, romance, and erotica. I could not put this story down and finished it in one day. I cannot wait for the next book by Niecey Roy. Mar 19, Deborah Thompson rated it really liked it. All I can say is this book brought out the hopeless romantic in me. I love to writing in this book because it seemed more real than any other romance novel I've ready so far using language I could relate to.
I was really able to immerse myself in this book and the only thing that interrupted my reading was a need for sleep. High marks for Niecey Roy, I look forward to finding something else by her.

Rachel Bennett is floundering, she is actively searching for a job that she will love like the last job she had. Her quest is not going as smoothly as she had hoped, especially after she gets in a slight fender bender with an arrogantly rude tempered man.
Of course her bad luck continues when she meets Craig Larsen, the man who she was in the accident with and it just so happens his brother is dating her best friend. Her road definitely seems to be rocky, especially when she seems destined to fa Rachel Bennett is floundering, she is actively searching for a job that she will love like the last job she had. Unlikely allies, Rachel and Craig find themselves teaming together in a very creative way to handle those who wrong them. I thought this was quite funny, Rachel has a temper and seems to speak first, think later causing quite a bit of arguments between herself and Craig.
I liked that Craig although questioned if she was worth the trouble, still was willing to see past her attitude. Enjoyable humorous contemporary tale. Hilarious, charming, light-hearted — this book is awesome. I truly could not put it down. All the characters are believable and loveable. Rachel Bennett is dealing with enough problems when she and Craig Larsen meet in a less than desirable way. However, this little fender bender maybe the best thing that has happen to Rachel in a long time.
Roy did an excellent job of including playful banter between the characters of Rachel and Craig.
